To all the robo companies pretending your bots aren't teleoperated and getting embarrassed because you're terrible at hiding it: JUST SELL THE TELEOPERATING EQUIPMENT. Do you have ANY idea how many jobs would be safer and/or more effective if workers could teleoperate a robot body from the safety of a control room? Heck just having some units on standby in locations with hazmat accident potential is worth it.
So, Dan basically just threw up his hands, waved the white flag, and is pretty much openly admitting there's nothing Twitch can do about viewbots. They're now putting the onus on the STREAMER to kneecap their own stream, and halt any possible growth for the day if they suspect they're being maliciously botted or risk being banned by the very platform that basically just threw up its hands and said, "Screw it, we give up."
This is like you getting robbed, the police showing up, and arresting you for robbery because, "Well, you should have stopped the robber since you knew it was against the law."

@SCShipyards I keep questioning rapid target switching accuracy, because, ya know, you're now fighting the gyroscope which introduces stress on the mechanism and extra forced flex in the barrel, but no one seems interested in that line of thought.
So, @QuippersUnited is right and the only reason it's not a bigger thing is because of how few people are playing it to begin with. There's some articles saying there's "no streamer mode because it's the soul of the story" but realistically it's to keep people from showing how bad it is.
You know, thinking back on the life pod launch in Subnautica 2, it actually shows that Alterra learned something from the Aurora crash.
The life pod itself looks much more like an armored box than the little lifeboat the original design was, and was built with powerful rockets and an AI that *will* get it to the surface regardless of what was in its way.

@TaigaxHolic Screwed me outta $500 in sponsor pay, and I know they did the same to others, I see Tera is in the same boat. So many people sad about the loss drowning out how many people got screwed because few want to speak out against it.
