@pcgamer If the scores were around 5-7/10 or, in this case, 74/100 from major game journals, it would have been less of an issue.

But most game outlets gave it a 10/10, and there is little user input; this is a glorified movie.

Their all-time peak on Steam is 2,245, and they currently have 843 players on right now. That is not an overall good game for the masses. Or a game that deserved a 10/10; it's a movie more than a video game.

The reason why indie games will be the future is simply because they are not held by the same standards as AAA studios, which are publicly traded companies that have to show a profit to their investors.

Meaning they will focus on gameplay rather than corperate revenue.
