I was lucky enough work with Dave on a reissue of his Psychic TV acid house project from 1988, “Blue Pyramid” by Virginia. Dave shared his memories with me and I printed them on the insert with the vinyl:
“The name “Blue Pyramid” was inspired by a photograph from Pink Floyd’s album ‘Dark Side of The Moon’, also at the time I was taking quite a lot of acid and came across some stuff ironically called “Blue Pyramid”. If memory serves I think the track was recorded at Time Square Studios, Chiswick, London, I can’t remember the date but it was around the same time as the “Beyond Thee Infinite Beat” album came out. The track was played & produced by me with Gini on violin.” - Dave Ball, 2017
