When my wife and I were both working full-time, we split a lot of the duties. As we got older, I started to make more money, we had kids, she gradually worked less, and did more at home. In the beginning, I never would’ve expected her to Work 50 hours, to all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. And we also would have struggled on a single income. But as life progresses, we’re able to work towards the life we want, i.e. stay at home mom or whatever.
It’s kind of just about having fucking common sense, and a little bit of respect for the person that you should love. From either side.
