This campaign for example. The only 2 games under $50 are ones you probably haven’t heard of (I sure hadn’t), the others are around $85–100, and your Stars membership bonus for shelling out on one of these? 33c worth of points.

Is it the “digital collectibles” that aren’t transferable? “Street cred”?

Can’t be the “PS Stars Points” surely — for equivalence, Sekiro:SDT is 15000 points, vs AUD$99.95 from PS Store, thus 1 point ≈ 0.67c 🤔

When you “earn” at a rate of on average 50 points per campaign, i.e. about 33c, is that really much incentive to work toward their completion (even if it can sometimes be just downloading a ~90gb game and starting it up once… is that time and effort even worth it)?? 🤷🏼‍♂️
