My first ever topcut at Wolverhampton regional! Was a great experience!
Went 9-1 in Swiss. Decklist and MUs below
Special shout out to @reydelospirata5 for the coaching. Would highly recommend! Single handedly taught me the deck in under a week!
@BigEOPTC@reydelospirata5 I often find boa to be really good to freeze the 6 cost! It also kinda forces then to deal with it using a gamma knife or 0 cost event so I would still play it to reduce hand size. Plus boa and galdino in one turn is broken! Think i played 2 boa in both my enel games!
@BigEOPTC@reydelospirata5 Not always boa! In my koby win I set it up with buggy! Obvs boa is the most ideal with 13k then 15k but gets stunned or removed alot. I think brook just gives you an extra tool for a win con. Where you can focus on getting them down to one and taxing the hand size
@BigEOPTC@reydelospirata5 Imo if a card is a two compared to a one of in the deck you pretty much are guaranteed to see it at one point in the game. So certain games I knew brook would just make winning that much easier. Helped secure both my Penel games (set up for Brook to go for game)
@reydelospirata5 Can't thank you enough bro! Coaching was 10/10 would have lost all the mirrors and the enel games if it weren't for you!

PLAYER TO WATCH: From X-3 to X-1 with a week of work!
@Xax_TCG reached out to me a week ago, (A WEEK AGO!) looking for an intro session to get some tips on GUffy. His best tournament finish was X-3 and he wanted to make Top Cut this year.
We got to work after our first session with multiple 2-hour intensive sessions and messages back and forth everyday during the weekβhe messaged me about his testing games, how the deck felt, and questions from our sessions.
Everything I told him I only had to say it once. I was amazed by the difference between his insight on the deck from Monday to Thursday. By Thursday he was asking much deeper questions, seeing deeper lines, and running the deck at a significantly higher level than he had been just a few days ago.
Our last step was to go over the Enel MU. We went at it with an intense session, discussed the theory, the lines, and the objectives.
Fast forward to the weekend, he beats TWO Enels, and A FREAKING KOBY! Absolutely wild learning speed, an amazing run, and a super well deserved first ever top-cut!
First of many, now we just work a bit more on time management and go get that first serial. Pay attention to this kid, heβs going to be in a lot more top cuts over there in EU.
Congrats again, Zayn! Super proud of the quick jump you made on the deck, your ability to absorb information is unmatched!
