That good to hear. I’m actually a Science teacher at a Christian Highschool. Even though I’ve made my old Earth, intelligent design position clear they been nothing but kind and considerate about it. Anything that involves power and money can be misused but I think it’s important to be pragmatic about about an imperfect world filled with imperfect people. I try to find the net value of people, places and things.

Athiest often hide behind satire in an attempt to prevent counter augments to their point. I always respond as if they’re on the level as a way of getting the counter argument a crossed the satired point. For my part I’m a intelligent design, old earth Christian. I know it sounds conflicted but I’ve come to love a Chirstian values and way of life. At the same time I don’t feel compelled to defend every phase in the Bible, but it contains allot of useful philosophy for living a good and peaceful life (ya there some indefensible stuff in there as well) . On balance Christianity is a good thing for many people. Let them have the beliefs in peace.

You must be an atheist trying to game Christian’s. The Chicxulub Impactor meteor hit 66million years ago. The largest mammal at the time was the 30 pound badger like animal called the Patagomaia but the vast majority were much smaller mouse sized mammals. So the answer to your question is that there were no cavemen at the time of the meteor impact. Homo Sapiens came around about 300,000 years ago, Jesus about 2000 years ago, annoying atheists on X masquerading as Christians wouldn’t appear until 2024 after Elon changed Twitters name to X.

Freddy, my friend, you may be suffering PTSD from a Southern Baptist tent revival you attended in your youth and are projecting these internalized fears more than what’s healthy. I assume you have a therapist you should open up about it with them. As for fire and brimstone postings on X they are a unicorn compared to the ‘there is no God you idiots (or some minor variation)’ copiously found on X.

@Ray_666999 @FredNor63554131 @Atomsmade If you include all postings you are likely correct but the majority of religious postings are at least attempts to be uplifting, like a verse of the day sort of thing. Atheist postings are nearly exclusively attacks on religion or implying that believers are ignorant.

Ooooh am I now, perhaps that’s only the case if your intellect actually matches your self image, sadly I suspect its well short. I get being an atheist, hell I was one for most of my life, but I never liked the part that so many atheist feel compelled to challenge and belittle people that don’t share their lack of belief. Their constant need for self validation was annoying. That part eventually drove me to disassociate with atheist community. After years of independent study of life science I became less and less convinced that the incredible complexity of life and its emergence could reasonably be explained as the product of some unidentified unquantifiable natural life force. I believe the evidence for evolution is fairly clear but the explanation for the presence of life at all has not even scratched the surface of a full ‘natural processes’ life explanation. After hundreds of years of research nothing. This is not to say we can’t explain life processes we’ve advanced a great deal in the area but knowing how aircraft fly doesn’t mean there were no Wright Brothers.

Fred your scaring me lighten up or you’re going to blow an aorta. Quick question how do I go about wallowing in ignorance, it’s a human construct not actually a place you can wallow in. Perhaps there is ignorant mud but I certainly don’t own any. As for insulting posts I’ve got nothing on your basic atheist who seem to relish insulting Christians in particular. You really don’t any need for validation by putting other people down. Just go be all the best atheist you can be,,,,but try not to crow about it so much.

I’m not very religious myself but bullies (religeous and atheist) are like a burr under my saddle. Just let people have their own beliefs without your two cents. Live in peace and tolerance brother.
