Meet your VCT partner teams for 2027!
We’re excited to keep building the future of VALORANT esports alongside some of the best organizations in the world.
And in 2027, the VCT opens up to more teams than ever, with guaranteed slots for open teams at every Cup.
Last year, we shared over $86M in digital goods revenue with VCT teams. Now more teams will have the opportunity to share in that success and compete on our biggest stages.

In light of the recent VCT update regarding KIWOOM DRX’s exclusion from the upcoming VCT partnership program, we would like to share the following updates to our roster - a decision that weighs heavily on us, but one that is essential to ensure KIWOOM DRX’s continued participation in VALORANT esports.
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀
KIWOOM DRX VALORANT have parted ways with the following coaching staff:
VCT Pacific
· Seonho ‘termi’ Pyeon
· Soonwoo ‘ARGENCY’ Kwon
VCT Challengers Korea
· Jin Myung ‘OD’ Jung
Both termi and ARGENCY have served as foundational pillars of KIWOOM DRX’s success since the birth of our VALORANT franchise. Since 2020, their leadership and dedication helped shape the very core of our competitive identity that is recognized on the global VALORANT stages.
OD has been instrumental in developing our young prospects through KIWOOM DRX VALORANT Academy. As VCT transitions to an open model system, he is prepared to take the next step in his coaching career under a new banner.
We extend our deepest gratitude to termi, ARGENCY, and OD for their invaluable contributions to our team over the years and wish them the absolute best in their future endeavors.
𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆
Alongside our departing coaching staff, it is with profound difficulty that we announce the departure of the following players from KIWOOM DRX VALORANT:
VCT Pacific
· Myeong-Kwan ‘MaKo’ Kim
· Habin ‘BeYN’ Kang
· Hajun ‘free1ng’ Noh
· Hyunmin ‘HYUNMIN’ Song
VCT Challengers Korea
· Jaeyoung ‘Kyra’ Park
· Chanmin ‘apeX’ Lee
· Jae Yong ‘Krexx’ Shin
Following our non-selection to the VCT partnership program, the players and management gathered to discuss our next steps ahead of VCT 2027. After evaluating the implications resulting from the changes to KIWOOM DRX’s partnership status, as well as the broader changes to the league’s system, all parties mutually agreed that parting ways is the most responsible path for everyone’s immediate interests.
As these exceptional players and coaches officially become free agents, we want to say thank you. From the countless hours of sacrifices to the professionalism they have displayed while representing our team, their contributions cannot be fully expressed in words.
No matter where they end up, they will forever have a home with KIWOOM DRX.
To our fans, we realize the weight of this news. Despite all the challenges we have faced - most especially this past season - we thank you for standing by us and for the endless support you have shown. As we turn toward the start of VCT 2027, we remain fully committed to preparing for our next chapter of VALORANT esports.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
