Finished 63rd place at Prague Regionals!
Special thanks to @VGCTilde, @Xeb_41 and @PasDerVGC for helping me with the team! Now that Scarlet and violet is over i can finally play Pokémon Champions 😭
Team Pokepaste: https://t.co/2b90u5GaJP
A player that I had won during the Swiss round. Aerodacryl, floette, kingkabit, maushold etc.
The most difficult matchup that I have faced is mega Scizor. I solved it by replacing Mega Floette with mega Scovillain (I will post this updated version later this week). And then I realised that we have a playable but difficult matchup against Mega Aerodactyl.
I finished Top 8 at the first Delites Champions Cup this Sunday—undefeated until my final match.
I also had the chance to feature the Top 4 and Finals live on my Twitch, which was an amazing experience.
Here’s the team I used—it’s already hit top ladder twice. The Sneasler / Kingambit / Basculegion core feels insane, and I managed to reach 2100 on ladder with relatively few games.
Hope you enjoy the team! As always, I’d love your feedback.
See you in the next one. 🔥

The team can play even without the megas, too. I take that decision based on my opponent’s team. If any of my megas cannot help me on the matchup I leave them out. For example I played a match with mega scizor and lucario. They were playing 50 shades of counter against my megas. I left them out. I maybe have 1-2 streams Vods of this team on my twitch channel. And I think both @unironicpanda and @CybertronVGC have featured this team on their YouTube channels.
Firstly. To press that bulk up is not my go to plan every time, but if Palafin is in front of 2 physical attackers I have incineroar with fake out on the field J can press it and gain incredible momentum. Thats why because +1 attack mystic water Stab jet punch in rain hits really hard.
I have been asked many times about the flip turn.
I will ask this. How do you reposition Palafin when you have faster mons in front of you using flip turn? You do not want Palafin in “zero” form to take damage
It is the same thing. We have 2 fake out, a focus sash and a multiscale Pokemon, king incineroar and hospitality sinitcha. All of these are our tools to play around the switch on the first turn.
Sometimes if I have not the safe switch and the slot of Palafin is vulnerable I press protect in the first turn.
You have a alternative to play scarf Palafin with flip turn but I do not like it so much tbh
Finally hit 2k elo with my team! 💪👈
Lately I am working a lot on this Palafin Balance team. I have featured this team on my streams, too.
In this version, I have replaced my favorite Klefki with Sneasler, which is a better meta threat.
🔹Sneasler adds a second fake out option, fighting and poison coverage and a lot of speed with its unburden ability.
Highlights of the team:
🔸Bulk up Palafin: A single bulk-up can give us incredible momentum and let us perform a late sweep with Palafin
🔸Calm mind Sinitcha: That mon has a double role in this team. It keeps its partners healthy with Hospitality, and hit hard after 1 or 2 Calm minds. Recovery from Leftovers and Matcha Gotcha make it difficult to get removed from the field.
Even though the team seems solid and consistent, there are still a lot to optimise to solve some matchups.
Hope you enjoy the team!
I am waiting for your comments and suggestions. See you later!

@pokedansong That makes a lot of sense. I will start working on these ideas after Prague Regionals next weekend. We can even work something together if you are available.
One week before Regionals and I have not a team yet! I took the bait that we were going to play Pokemon Champions! Haha.
As far as mega Frosslass, I am actively watching this! It seems to be a good fit on this team. It helps us make our team bulkier and maybe it solves the threat of mons like Garchomp, but the predator Kingambit is still out there! So we maybe need to make some more changes around our rock star, Palafin!

@magycfps These teams were based on the pre champions format playing on Pokemon showdown in order to prepare for the actual Pokemon Champions. Some mega abilities were based on leaks or rumored info, too.
