What completely staggers me is the joy and glee expressed by thousands of people around the globe when Saudi airports are damaged by missiles or drones released by the Houthis of Yemen. Do these people of juvenile mentality realise what the Persian or Arabian Gulf would be without the Saudis? The Houthis are nothing but a wild bunch of 'bushwhackers' with virtually no knowledge of present day geopolitics. Their sole motivation for fighting is vengeance for the neglect and injustices meted out to them by the the so-called super-powers, and forever kept them poor and under-previleged. Today Saudi Arabia provides employment to thousands of skilled foreigners, mostly from South Asia, for essential jobs in hospitals, desalination plants, electrical power and transformer installations, etc., for which the Houthis do not have the skills or expertise to replace even one percent of such jobs, whether in Bahrain, Kuwait, or Qatar, let alone Saudi Arabia. These dooms-day cheerleaders
certainly need to think twice, or even thrice, before backing a crippled horse.
