@joardee @Warcraft @wowclassicdevs I dont think they take those ideas lightly because last year Era and SoD both had free migration enabled in complete silence.
They surely want to suit the players, but they want to manage who is going where, and that include not being 100% clear around things.

And allowing migration/cloning to retail is a convenient choice for us but still has cost repercursion for them.

The amount of generated features in a so short amount of time is mad.
In France google search seems to put them down below the results despite i see them used pretty much anywhere (reddit, twitch...)

This one and another got release less than 12hrs span after the Forever announcement with a crazy amount of details features.
I dont think blizzard has any sort of business with it but i think its pipeline is so robust there is no real human prompting it.
