@FlogMma@allie__voss I was coming to post similar. Being active and having a full day labor job at 6'3" makes 2,000 calories feel like short work.
Recent injury I cut back and it's rough to eat "a normal diet" Doable, but your body gets used to it's averages.
@Hard_Egg_33 @HazelAppleyard Both can be terrible. I'll always go with a bar of soap and a brush to apply and I'm happy. Liquid soap never lasts as long, has waste, and usually requires much more rigorous physical exfoliation.
Making sure you are not buying crap in either field is big as well.
@MorninAfterKill@xTGE_Youtube That's what I saw as more gameplay got released. But from an eastern mmo dev. I'm still waiting for reviews to simmer down.
Was in the camp of Crimson Desert looks too good to be true, too many minigames, $70 games are usually skin deep to get your money, and it's from a korean mmo dev.
I'm sure it's flashy and pretty at least. Graphics alone don't offer gameplay standards. Reviews seem to agree.
@WATCHHOLLIE I don't like long start screens, so I limit mine to 10 minutes. Three minute block ads at the start take 5-6 minutes after natural initiation and what if I forget water, coffee, a light, need to redo settings, ect.
"The studio you never heard of because it hasn't made a single game ever will bring you the NEXT. BIG. BREAKTHROUGH. in the genre you know and love!"
-Needs to stop. It has a 2% success rate and people are over it. What happened to make a simple game and grow with each release?
@saiya_ran Because companies pride themselves literally on money, sales, and profits. Not the damn game being fun.
I critique a game fully for what it is, but it's very easy to see when a game does something for ROI instead of for the benefit of the game's health.
@MaxArmand People seem to be hating not realizing people are offering full payment over market price since covid hit. It might not be the up to 20-30% over like then, but people are doing it.
Especially in flipping areas.
@ThoughtCrimes80@GovofCO I'd look up local county property tax exemptions for seniors. I did that for my father and his taxes dropped by literally half. Of course each county is different, but I would assume they'd give exemptions to seniors and/or low income folks.
Most increases are locally voted in.
@YaBoiWiilly I have a feeling that chrono odyssey will pull a Once Human. Heavily focus on microtransactions and let the base release hold out as long as possibly.
The new world package rips in town didn't leave me a lot of hope, but I'll still keep eyes on development
No, no, and no.
Ashes of Creation was supposed to release in 2018/19. That was the original slated release window.
Failure of management and ownership. They couldn't make the product.
$500 access and $5000 kickstarter rewards and referal rewards were huge red flags.
Muitas pessoas comemorando a morte do Ashes of Creation enviou um sinal claro às empresas de jogo.
Fujam do desenvolvimento de MMORPG's; muita dor, pouco lucro.
@JoshStrifeHayes I think all content creation does this. Cross pollination doesn't work with established audiences.
YouTube is still one of the better sites for live streaming though.
@TheoryForge I find it is. It kinda' sucks though because of how prevalent early access is now.
I really miss the days of a demo before purchase being all that was needed to build hype.
@Babylonius@bleatdeer So the problem isn't tier lists as a whole, but between the amount of non research backed tier lists and the players who think only highest tier specs are worth playing causing confusion in the uneducated player base?
You could of just said that!
@TheChunkeyNinja The problem I see is there are a lot of companies in the market/business because of it's high potential earnings, not because they are passionate about the games they are making.
They see $$$ and not understanding of what gamers are looking for.
@JamieKaos Back in the day when I saw $5000k kickstarter packages and $500 access keys I knew this wasn't going to go well.
Self inflated worth for a concept that never matured past a wet runny bloody egg.
@denissnider Imagine those who spent even more. I swear when the kickstarter came out they had things worth THOUSANDS. I think some even came with D&D sessions. I wonder if those people got their D&D session?
@Babylonius Arbitrary? No. I was more talking about tier lists of people who parse all potentials and give feedback rather than JoeShmoe on YouTube getting his 10,000 views for a sandwich.
A lot of good tier lists explore things outside the norms to see what might be strange but strong.
