@johnnyhellcat81 8 is vibrant in color and characters, quite large, and has a gripping story. Combat is fluid and easy to grasp. 9 is another great one, building off the gameplay mechanics of 8. Oath in Felghana, 6, and Origins are different beasts altogether in terms of gameplay style. Still fun

@johnnyhellcat81 One of the better things about it is that you can jump in to most, if not all, of the titles and not need any of the other games to fill you in on plot. Largely self contained, outside of world building and references. I Recommend starting with 8 personally.
