@Dnndrk She did teach me loads. For instance, how to keep distance from extremists with radical and fanatic views misguided as 'principles'. This convo would've had a different tone, hadn't you tried to make a point by being sarcastic implying I'm after likes, throwing emojis like π€¦π».
@Dnndrk And just to clear the air, I didn't imply anything remotely similar to humanity living sad lives before smart tech. I simply meant we tend to evolve with the era we're in. You chose not to. And when you use irony to educate, you give off this outdated, close minded, fussy vibeπ€·π»
@Dnndrk Don't deflect, you know what I meant. You came to my page, a stranger, and lectured me. Did you do the same to Steven, a Xena icon, who also used AI for 'momentarily gratification'?
@Dnndrk As to the strike, if you're referring to the WGA writers strike with Steven Sears and other Xena cast, Al was barely the reason, if any! By the way, Steven Sears usually plays around with Al, you know, just for fun. Did you go witch-hunting on him as well?
@Dnndrk Whether you like it or not, AI is here to stay and sooner or later you'll cave in, as did you with your phone because it was "necessary for work". All that is needed are proper regulations and sustainable measurements (and I'm with you it should), but it won't go away.
@Dnndrk Smartphones, too, have a huge eco cost. Producing just 1 phone requires tens of thousands of liters of water during mining and manufacturing processes and I'm sure you have one. So I'm the wrong target, I use AI for fun in my videos once in a blue moon. Go after the big whales.
@sramlogan578 That's because THAT never happened. It's our current technology trying to recreate something that isn't real. That's why I said it's not perfect, but it's good enough to massage our imagination.
@Dnndrk Instead of pointing fingers, wouldnβt it be more productive to advocate for sustainable practices across all tech, not just the ones you donβt personally use?
@Dnndrk What about the momentarily gratification by your fan posts? Streaming platforms and social media all use up significant resources too (read up on it as well). Singling out AI while heavily using these other digital services, which also generate impact, feels a bit selective.
I found the second picture online, it read "childhood warriors" and I thought someone utterly crucial was missing, so I drew her in.
The original picture wasn't credited, if you know who the artist is, let me know!
