@quadripoly I'm not saying he has to kill ALL of them, but like, if he needs to defend himself, he can. Also, another part of the problem is that Asriel just straight up walked into a village of humans carrying a DEAD HUMAN CHILD. Of course the humans are gonna attack and kill him.

We've released v0.0.250 for DELTARUNE Chapter 5 on Steam & Playstation. This fixes a number of minor issues and bugs across the game. We'll do one more patch after this!

@SirL0ser Again, Asriel was a child, Asgore is not. He would be tougher than Asriel, and more willing to use his powers to protect himself, instead of not wanting to hurt people, and letting himself get hurt as to not hurt others.

@SirL0ser Yeah, but see, Asgore is smarter than Asriel was. Asriel was just a child, Asgore is an adult who has been living for a long time. Even though he's bigger, he's still smarter and could much more easily hide and wait to find bad people.

@SirL0ser See, part of the problem with Asriel, is that he was CARRYING CHARA'S BODY WITH HIM, which made it look like he killed her. It would have been very different for Asgore to go to the surface, find 6 evil people, kill them, and use their souls to open the barrier

@SirL0ser I mean, he is, even he knows it, he's a bad person. There is nuance to the situation, yes, but objectively, undeniably, killing a bunch of kids, no matter the reason is still wrong. (Obviously, the genocide route is kinda an exception.)
