Divergence is a powerful technical analysis concept that reveals when price action and momentum indicators (like RSI or MACD) disagree, often signaling upcoming price moves.

There are 3 types of divergence"

Regular Divergence (suggests trend reversal): Price makes higher highs/lower lows, but the indicator forms lower highs/higher lows.
It means momentum is weakening, hinting at a potential reversal.

Hidden Divergence (suggests trend continuation): Price shows higher lows/lower highs, while the indicator makes lower lows/higher highs. It means the trend remains strong despite pullbacks.

Extended Divergence (also points to continuation): A rarer variant where the pattern stretches further, often reinforcing ongoing momentum in the same direction.

What is happening in crypto?

Since October 10th, crypto markets are now down -50%, erasing $2.2 TRILLION worth of market cap.

Bitcoin has officially erased ALL of its post-election rally, now down -10% since Trump's election.

Why is it crashing? Let us explain.

This is absolutely insane:

On October 6th, crypto markets hit a record high market cap of $4.3 trillion.

Today, the crypto market is worth just $2.3 trillion, losing -$2 TRILLION worth of market cap in 4 months.

In other words, ~46% of crypto's entire value has been wiped out since October 6th.

Bear markets arrive when markets least expect it.

Kamu bilang "koreksi 10%, masih sehat"

Besoknya turun ke $0.08, kamu beralasan "ini untuk shake out weak hand! Aing mah diamond hand!"

Lama-lama saat harganya tinggal $0.005, kamu zoom out dan bilang: "Yang penting utilitas dan komunitasnya!"

People are debating between using different kinds of Moving Averages. But how different it is?

EXPONENTIAL VS SIMPLE Moving Averages

I will explain to you with a language that is easy to understand:

Simple Moving Average (SMA)
The calculation of the Moving Average is done by simply using standard arithmetic. Sum of price divided by number of price data points.

Exponential Moving Average (EMA)
Different methods of calculation, but basically emphasizing more on recent price swings

I personally prefer EMA, but both comes with pros and cons

I use EMA of 1 day timeframe to gauge the market bias
- If price below 21 EMA daily = bearish tendency
- If price above 21 EMA daily = bullish tendency

Also, for entering day trade:
Entry on breakout from 21 EMA on 15 mins or 1 hour EMA

SMART MONEY CONCEPT

Some concepts to learn
1. Order blocks
Basically an area where there are numerous orders (usually limit orders), can act as support or resistance

2. Fair Value Gaps
When price moves impulsively, we can predict that it may fill the "gap". This gap can be used for looking for entry position

3. Supply and Demand
I may be wrong, but it's support and resistance with more sophisticated term

4. Change of Character
When bullish become bearish, and vice versa

5. Break of Structure
- In bullish market: creating new high
- In bearish market: creating new low

6. Liquidity Pools
Cluster of stop losses or orders, that if broken, can probably cause the price to continue to move violently

7. Stop Loss Hunting
When price breaks liquidity pool but then moves back to the opposite direction.
In another word: your stop loss placement sucks

8. False Breakouts
When breakout failed. Price will most probably move to the opposite direction

9. Kill Zones
Time windows where so called smart money (algo, banks, institutions) hunt your stop loss - if you suck at trading and placing stop loss

The million dollar question:

What is happening crypto right now?

Crypto markets have now officially erased over -$1 TRILLION of market cap since October 6th.

But why?

The answer to this question seems to be more technical than fundamental.

That is, crypto adoption is still at record highs, de-regulation is in full swing, and technology is advancing rapidly.

However, leverage is at unprecedented levels which is amplifying moves in the market, such as the $20B liquidation seen on October 10th.

As a result, when uncertainty arises or technical momentum fades, downward swings are amplified.

300,000 traders are being liquidated PER DAY on average and the market has evolved into its most reactive form in history amid Trump posts and headlines.

The long-term thesis is stronger than ever, but the short-term picture points to larger swings in both directions.

Leverage is a wild "drug."
