We are pleased to announce the successful completion of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for a Substation Automation System (SAS) replacement project, delivered in collaboration with Saudi Energy Company.

The testing was conducted in full compliance with applicable standards, confirming the system’s readiness for deployment with strong performance, reliability, and seamless integration. As part of the validation process, XEON utilized the latest version of its XEON simulation tool to test IED functionalities, including command execution, feedback indications, alarm handling, and interlocking schemes.

This milestone reflects XEON continued commitment to delivering innovative, secure, and future-ready solutions for the power and energy sector.

يسر شركة زيون الإعلان عن النجاح في اجتياز اختبارات القبول المصنعي (FAT) لمشروع تطوير نظام أتمتة المحطات (SAS)، وذلك بالتعاون مع الشركة السعودية للطاقة.

تم تنفيذ الاختبارات وفقًا لأعلى المعايير المع��مدة، حيث تم التحقق من جاهزية النظام للتشغيل بكفاءة عالية، مع ضمان مستويات متقدمة من الأداء والموثوقية وسلاسة التكامل. وكجزء من إجراءات التحقق، قامت شركة زيون باستخدام أحدث إصدار من أداة المحاكاة الخاصة بها لاختبار وظائف أجهزة الحماية والتحكم (IED)، بما يشمل تنفيذ الأوامر، والتحقق من إشارات التغذية الراجعة، ومعالجة الإنذارات، وتطبيق أنظمة الإنترلوك .

ويجسّد هذا الإنجاز التزامنا المستمر بتقديم حلول تقنية متقدمة، آمنة، وقابلة للتطوير، تسهم في دعم مستقبل قطاع الطاقة وتعزيز كفاءته .

Recently, we successfully carried out a Proof of Concept (POC) for the Fanless Industrial PC Machine ECU479 with our partner Advantech, at XEON Lab in the presence of National Grid Saudi Arabia Team.

This successful step marks an important contribution to National Grid Saudi Arabia’s operational objectives, as it enhances the overall performance, reliability, efficiency, and #security of NG network, while also reducing operational and maintenance costs and ensuring full compliance with NG standards and regulations.

As part of our ongoing efforts to build strong connections with the academic community, we discussed enhancing our partnership with the academic leadership at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University.

The meeting included discussions on potential collaboration with students in areas such as cooperative training and participation in graduation projects, contributing to their readiness for the job market.
