I purchased the Asus PG27UCDM this week. Holy shit is it gorgeous, and insanely responsive. Dropped from framerate in BF6 for 4k because my eyes need it, but the feel of the monitor is crazy. I am still using a 3090 right now, but looking at getting a 5080/90 Super in the fall.
The #battlefield6 engineer class AT mines are too strong. I was in a full health AA tank that was destroyed by a single AT mine which showed 100% damage dealt. MBTs take around 75-90% from the quick glance I've noticed. They are hard to see, and too numerous. Anyone disagree?
@MarcoReps I have a box of like 10 9330's sitting above my desk at work. We haven't needed them in 10+ years because we have 742A's, but I'm keeping them safe until we get a proper air/oil bath to use them in.
Didn't get much time to play the second time around, but kept fairly consistent. Had multiple games where I would just die b2b2b2b losing fights that I would do +80 damage in and couldn't figure out what the difference was. Something just felt off.
I like the beta so far. Some maps just do not flow well, and sniping sweet spots need to be removed, but I am enjoying it.
Drag reviving is awesome, movement feels good, but I also damage enemies for 80+ on a peek and keep getting merked so I'm not sure what to do about that.
Why is it that @NIglobal's Measurement and Automation Explorer for the 20XX QX versions have been so shit that it never sees equipment that previous versions can with no issue. Having to restart my computer so many god damn times to fix a problem I know is NI's gets old fast.
Finally got the energy to do this after having ordered the resistors a few weeks back. Just replaced with 1/2W 0.1%'s because this will just be a DMM checker. $10-ish and 1 hr of work for a $500+ decade box. #electronics#repair
My work was going to scrap this IET RS-201W decade box because it was damaged out in the field by someone. I tested it, and just the 100 Ohm resistor decade needs repaired. Debating just putting in new 0.1% resistors, or ordering more accurate values. #metrology#electronics

I may try to start making content again. Not sure, but now that I have my own place, streaming games and electronics projects will be easier. Tis an idea.
