@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2@GamerTronSA @no1_teddybear I'd argue that looking at a study, made by doctors that is peer reviewed by people with degrees from universities and then completely discarding it for no valid reason is fascinating logic.
There's literally no convincing you, nor is there anything to gain from talking with you
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear The people behind healthcare are doctors with university degrees who publish can studies on how hrt can help a person. Said studies are then peer reviewed, again, with people that have university degrees. Why is it an issue when they suggest trans people require trans care?
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear 0.5% to 3% of trans people regret surgery from a quick Google search.
Knee surgery, however, has a regret rate at best of being 7.3% and at worst 10%.
The reason it's healthcare is because it works and actually treats people for their gender dysphoria.
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear It's called healthcare because that's what it is... Mental health professionals can recommend hrt or bottom surgery for people who have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria. It quite literally is proper help.
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear What's hateful about being able to love freely, and being able to change your body to love yourself? People are not being forced to transition, or to date who they don't want to, and the lgbtiq+ do not want a society where certain people are oppressed for their sexuality/identity
@toxicfootyuri EXACTLY WHY THE FUCK ARE PEOPLE HATING ON THEM?? It's genuinely so heartbreaking to see that people can't look into someone else's perspective
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear Gender dysphoria is a medical diagnosis, yes. Even cis people can get dysphoria. Also most of the lgbtiq+ community want to spread love and positivity. So again, I don't see where the hate is coming from. Also, has cis ever not meant being your assigned sex at birth?
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear Where does the hate stem from?? It's literally just a way to differentiate trans people from cis people. It's just a shorter way of saying "I identify as my assigned sex at birth" or for trans people "I don't identify as my assigned sex at birth."
@AndyWithGrit@Kazumi_part2 @no1_teddybear Cis gender is just another way of saying that you identity with the sex you are born as at birth. If you really want actual slurs for cis people I'd recommend 4chan, specifically in 4trans communities.
(That's a joke I could never actually recommend 4chan to anyone ever.)
@Valkyriedownbad It's a response to someone going "a trans woman is someone with gender dysphoria" (which isn't accurate). Also, this seems like an expression of imposter syndrome, which correct me if I'm wrong, in this case would be gender dysphoria because they feel bad about their gender.
@AllTsarof@devilzrantz It's actually fucking terrifying how many people are enjoying the suffering of others. Never really seen it much outside of twitter, so it is a little shocking, even with everything that's I've heard about what's happening in America with Trump...
