@JoshuaTookes What makes this especially foolish is that they’re launching a Kickstarter, expecting people to give them money when they probably just lost a lot of potential backers that like GameOverse.
Look, I don't think GameOverse is anything that special myself but punching down on the popular thing or creating something out of spite for another thing usually goes badly. It's especially rich when this looks like a generic adult animation.
Official Kickstarter parody promo for ‘Chimptopia’ by @calmdown_robby, launching June 20th.
The animated sitcom follows three 20-something friends as they scramble to make enough money to avoid eviction from their landlord, Chimp.

@JrHopeless It's not up to them to point out things that are silly in their own work and it always stinks of cowardice when they do.
Those in charge would be more respected if they played it straight because moments like this just insult the audience's intelligence.
@DiscussingFilm It makes sense that they got Blooper Team to make this, seeing as they're apparently the experts when it comes to not always being able to save everyone and red shirts are a prime example of that.
@wwarrior_1 That fridge should be in Tokon as a grappler. Would be a strong counterpick to Spider-Man.
Better yet, have Venom throw the fridge to pin when he eventually gets added.
There’s even an entire TV Tropes page named after this phrase dedicated to media that can only be easily accessible in full through unofficial methods nowadays.
@Danny8bit It kind of makes sense this time since Ubisoft is in such dire straits, they may genuinely be unable to make another Rayman game for the rest of the company’s lifespan if it doesn’t make bank.
@Danny8bit I think the bigger lie in this is it being described as "a great improvement" because I guarantee it won't be seen that way by much of the fanbase.
