Tests are meant to act as a benchmark to show if a student is understanding what is taught, but fail to do so due to focus on the results. Stress and anxiety also do not help in giving accurate results. I do wish an alternative to testing was proposed however. #sjuxav

Digital learning definitely has a place in education, however it should not be the "norm". Most students I know did not function as well at home as they did in school. Statistics may have been inflated due to rampant cheating on tests. #sjuxav

Cryptocurrency is a very flawed system right now, as it is too flexible and has no support system unlike the current dollar. In the future, in combination with the block chain and legislation, crypto may become stable enough to establish as a common currency. #sjuxav

If there is evidence that it can be a carcinogen, it should be handled with caution and therefore not in our foods. Even if it isn't carcinogenic, it may still be unhealthy for us in other ways.

Learning a language allows one to access more of the world. We learn quicker as children, so being able to learn a new language as a child allows for Americans to broaden their horizons. #sjuxav

While a bad diet is a leading cause of disease, i don't think sugar should be removed. However possibly having a more substantial notice on the package of the consumable if the sugar or other unhealthy product exceeds a certain amount. #sjuxav

Designer babies are an impossible thing made possible. I believe it should only be used for medical reasons to prevent disease. We could also standardize the changes made to children and allow parents to choose to have less editing, but not more. #sjuxav

Standardized testing is a method of comparing the ability of students. It does not account for the actual intelligence of the student, however I believe they act as a good secondary window into who the student is.

Zoos should be a means of conservation, not a form of entertainment. We can have enclosures for the animals without torturing to show them off to the public.

Social media is very dangerous for younger children. It can inspire addictive or obsessive behaviors, and interactions online are not safe since you can never know who you are talking to. #sjuxav

I agree that the school should change its name. Holding a white supremacist in memoriam shoukd not be happening. However it should not be taken to the extent that some other schools have by closing down until they have changed the name. #sjuxav

I think that being a good player does not translate to being a good coach. I agree with the article when they talk about needing leadership and communication to be a coach.

I think that high-school ball is a lot more difficult than college ball. And in turn, the NBA is a lot harder than college. I agree that the one and done rule should not exist, but I feel there should be sticker limits on high school prospects. #sjuxav

I think the author's objectivity makes it easier to read through for both children and parents, despite the huge impact this topic has on the lives of the parent and child. #sjuxav

I believe that student athletes deserve to be paid for their hard work and dedication, but they are also paid in exposure and can make livings based on that. #sjuxav

@xhsdlaganga I agree, the label of "fully self driving" would imply that the system is perfect and never needs correction, which cannot be assured right now. #sjuxav

Self driving technology is very difficult to get right, so tesla should be upfront with how their cars should be used. #sjuxav

#sjuxav I think that we could develop another way to extract the lithium-ion, other than water. This would help the surrounding inhabitants and wildlife. The mining issue may be solved by the thing being mined. Electric mining tools could reduce the 60% carbon footprint.

Freedom of speech is a very important part of our rights as Americans, but social media towes the line on what is censorship or not. #sjuxav
