i remember seeing this tweet when it first when viral but I hadn't reached upto season 4 and was thinking "oh its house, I bet its some illegal sexual/racist joke and its going to be exciting, can't wait". Fucking hell.
I don’t think the Avatar fighting game looks bad, but I feel like something about the key-framing and hitstop feels a little soft to me. Am I the only one?
@_DoctorNo_ Lots of great local (Korean) coffee shops have been popping up lately! I’m not sure where you are based mostly, but I’ve been having good experiences at a lot of them (outside of the lines).
@Jyosua I think games have more hidden building blocks (hand eye coordination, reaction speed, pattern cognition, critical thinking) that we don’t really acknowledge because we did all those things for pure enjoyment, making the leap to competitive or self improvement games easier.
@Jyosua I feel that, I think once you’ve realized the edges of anything that turns something into a closed system, whether it’s games or cooking or art, the brain starts to paint over and simplifies the parts that used to take cognition to accomplish and the “feel” starts to set in.
