【中國政府援助委內瑞拉首批緊急人道主義救災物資啟運】7月5日晚間，中國政府向委內瑞拉提供的首批緊急人道主義地震救災援助物資從北京首都國際機場啟運。據了解，首批物資重80余噸，主要包括20台發電機、8套凈水車、200個消毒機、200套太陽能照明設備、1700余件帳篷和6700余條毛毯等，由1架民航包機運往委內瑞拉首都加拉加斯。其餘批次物資將陸續發運。

Aujourd’hui, j’ai accueilli le ministre Wang Yi au Canada. Cette visite était la première d’un ministre chinois des Affaires étrangères au Canada depuis plus de dix ans, et représente une étape importante dans nos relations bilatérales.

Nous avons convenu que le Canada sera le pays d’honneur à l’Exposition Internationale des Importations de la Chine, et nous nous sommes engagés à nous rencontrer au moins une fois par année, en tant que ministres des Affaires étrangères, afin de travailler étroitement à la résolution des enjeux sensibles.

Nous avons aussi convenu de collaborer dans des secteurs clés comme l’agriculture, les technologies propres, l’énergie et la fabrication, ainsi que de rouvrir le dialogue sur les enjeux de sécurité nationale. J’ai également annoncé une mission commerciale canadienne des industries créatives en Chine cet automne.

La communication entre nos gouvernements est essentielle, c’est pourquoi le ministre Wang Yi et moi avons convenu de nous revoir au sommet de l’ASEAN en juillet.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the phone.

Wang Yi noted that head-of-state diplomacy has always been the anchor of the China-U.S. relationship. Under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Trump, the relationship has remained stable on the whole. This serves the fundamental interests of the two peoples and is in line with the expectation of the international community.

The two sides should maintain the hard-earned stability, make good preparations for the important agenda for high-level interactions, expand cooperation and manage differences, and explore the building of a strategic, constructive, and stable China-U.S. relationship, so as to achieve mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.

Wang Yi underscored that the Taiwan question bears on China’s core interests and is the biggest risk in China-U.S. relations. The U.S. side should honor its commitments and make the right choice, to open up new space for China-U.S. cooperation and make due efforts for world peace.
