NEW: Police officer nearly gets shot while performing a pit maneuver on a vehicle during a police chase in Missouri.

According to authorities, the suspect was being chased after he allegedly shot multiple people, killing one.

In the dashcam footage, the passenger window of the police cruiser was seen getting hit by a bullet.

Police say when they approached the car, the suspect was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
