Behaviour Interactive has released a statement addressing the recent Dead by Daylight creator controversy to appeal to the “inclusive community”

The studio admitted that the team moved too quickly when partnering with peanut, failed to properly review their background and didn’t follow the right internal approval processes.

Behaviour also acknowledged that the official account’s “WE CAN TAKE THE HEAT!” response during the Twitch stream made things worse getting death threats from some people

The creator’s in-game rewards have since been removed.

Behaviour says its goal is to protect the inclusive community it wants Dead by Daylight to represent

And creators have began to leave the program. This was a long time coming but dead by daylight did this to themselves. From never following the guidelines they have on their official creator page online & not following the same criteria for accepting ppl,now allowing bigotry(1/2)

I'm so upset with how this turned out and heavily disappointed. Imo the downfall came after layoffs from 2024
