Ashton Kutcher is resigning from Thorn.

“Today we are sharing that Ashton Kutcher, our co-founder, will be resigning from his role as Board Chair at Thorn, effective immediately. This decision is rooted in the recognition of recent events and ensuring Thorn remains focused on its mission: to build technology to defend children from sexual abuse. 

Thorn Board,
After my wife and I spent several days of listening, personal reflection, learning, and conversations with survivors and the employees and leadership at Thorn, I have determined the responsible thing for me to do is resign as Chairman of the Board, effectively immediately. I cannot allow my error in judgment to distract from our efforts and the children we serve.  
As you know, I have worked for 15 years to fight for people who are sexually exploited. Victims of sexual abuse have been historically silenced and the character statement I submitted is yet another painful instance of questioning victims who are brave enough to share their experiences. This is precisely what we have all worked to reverse over the last decade.
The mission must always be the priority and I want to offer my heartfelt apology to all victims of sexual violence and everyone at Thorn who I hurt by what I did. And to the broader advocacy community, I am deeply sorry. I remain proud of what we have accomplished in the past decade and will continue to support Thorn’s work. Thank you for your tireless advocacy and dedication to this cause.

10. Cathy’s Cookies 8/10. Cooked perfectly, but nothing out of the world or super unique. I also wish you could get a smaller amount, but I recognize part of the appeal is getting a bucket full.

9. Diet Coke with the new lids -1,000,000/10. Diet Coke baby, it isn’t you!!! These new lids are dog shit. They pop off so easily and so many of us are victims to our $6 drinks spilling all over us. Who has a petition to sign?

8. Oggie’s Pizza 5/10. Surprised with this considering the hype. I had pepperoni and it was pretty cold tbh. The flavors and crust were all good, but unfortunately I didn’t get to enjoy a good cheese pull or even get that pizza smell.

1. Helmet Sunday: 10/10. The vanilla soft serve is perfect, the whipped cream makes it fun, and as someone who isn’t into fudge sauce, I even like that on top with sprinkles. Consistent, reliable, and a great mood boost when they blow a huge lead in the 7th inning.

7. Crafty Mac 8.5/10. I had it with tri tip and chimichurri, both of which were phenomenal. I do however want to see the Mac and Cheese have more of a saucy vibe.

6. Garlic Fries 9/10. I want so bad to say they are a 10 BUT I want MORE garlic!!!!! I want my breath to take days to recover! But the sauce is solid and the fries are cooked to perfection.

5. Regular chicken strips 10/10. Perfection. Never leave me feeling anything but bliss. God bless the chicken strips.
