@gingerbanks1 You can also make sure you are not getting cheesed by choosing to model on platforms that reward performance. Models with bigger fanbases, more consistent schedules, better earnings, should be dynamically rewarded accordingly.
@gingerbanks1 And for payment processing you can reduce fees by using cryptocurrency as directly as possible (they use too many processors too sometimes) and simply selling the crypto yourself on exchange accounts, or even using it directly to buy gift cards or other goods.
@gingerbanks1 If I were looking at where the inefficiencies are, I'd start with affiliates and payment processors -- not because I think they are overpaid, but because you have alternatives. For traffic, there's a while spectrum of self-mktg models/studios and camsites could budget for,
@gingerbanks1 The market is deep and competitive, and when you math out the model/studio %, affiliate %, payment processor %, mktg/advertising, platform development, human resources, legal/compliance, software/hardware/security, etc, it all starts making sense.
@gingerbanks1 There is a somewhat false narrative being promoted by new entrants that camsites and studios take an unfair %. But they ignore the depth of this competitive market and the fact it requires many middlemen trying to achieve this mrktplace; like traffic generation, affiliates, etc.
