Golden Axe: The Duel (1994) by Sega took the Golden Axe series into one-on-one fighting, introducing a new generation of warriors battling for the legendary axe. Running on Sega's ST-V arcade hardware, it combined large character sprites, weapon-based combat, and fantasy-themed special moves, making it feel like Sega's answer to the 2D fighter boom of the mid-90s.

A damn shame it doesn't play that good, but still worth checking out.

@JoseAle50027830 Para mi tenía sentido que X fuese tan frío con Axl en X7, a X nunca le gustó pelear, ni la espiral de conflicto y violencia que significa ser un hunter, pero luchaba por un bien mayor, de pronto aparece Axl que no tiene idea de la vida idealizando lo que signifca ser un Hunter.
