On August 6, 1945, after the American atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, a black rain was created by the mushroom cloud as smoke, ash, and debris rose into the atmosphere. This radioactive black rain caused the gradual deaths of many innocent people in the following decades, particularly from leukemia and thyroid cancer.
Eighty years later, today, following the American bombing of fuel storage facilities in Tehran, the city and its people are experiencing an acidic rain whose future consequences are unknown and which may claim lives through suffering and disease in the years to come.

Israel must open the crossings to allow patients to leave and medical supplies to enter. The world must intervene. We must not die in silence without anyone helping us.
