Xur Rework in The Final Shape

There are several significant changes to Xur in The Final Shape.

Due to the current limitations of the Destiny 2 API, we will not be able to accurately display Xur’s information this week. Also, updates to Xur’s details may take longer than usual.

@willcao23 Hello. The premium is linked to the e-mail address you used when you purchased ad removal. If you are on an Android device; that is the gmail account you used on your device. To remove ads; you need to have that gmail account as the primary one on your device.

We are aware that Where is Xur? is not working correctly. This is due to the Destiny API being down at the moment.
We will update Xur's location and inventory as usual, once the API is fixed.

We just released an app update for Android. This update will fix the random force quitting issue that started occurring on Android 9 devices in the past weeks.

Due to an issue causing an increase in crashes on all platforms, Xur has been moved to the Tower for the remainder of the weekend.

Xur may not appear in the Tower right away.

For the last 3 weeks; Destiny has been under extended maintenance period during the weekly reset day. Therefore; we preferred not to send the Xur departure notification as we'd have to send it very early otherwise.
We will continue sending that notification in the coming weeks.

@acemike20 Sometimes it might take a while to appear for you. Try changing characters when it happens and Xur will surely appear on the said destination.

@Ey3Am Yes I know about it. However; that info cannot be displayed in Where is Xur?; because it is not available in the Destiny API. To be honest I am also pretty sure that Bungie will patch that very soon.

@CapnCaboose Where is Xur? only displays exotics that Xur can actually sell. Any other exotic item that is a quest, raid etc reward is not included.

We have released an update for Where is Xur?
With this update you will:
- See the complete inventory of Xur (including the legendary items) and the exact stat & perk rolls of all items
- See which DLC is required to purchase an exotic and when was the last time it was offered

There is a scheduled maintenance for Destiny 2 today which will start at 9:45 AM PDT (16:45 UTC). This means that; we won't be able to locate & update Xur’s location at the time of his arrival.
We will update Xur’s location once the maintenance is over at 2:00 PM PDT (21:00 UTC).

Looks like Xur has appeared early this week. He is at the Tower Hangar right now; but he is not selling anything other than the exotic engram and the quest.
We will update the app once we confirm this is actually this week’s location and the full inventory is revealed.
