Spurs need to score a goal (for the first time in the league this season) and they take off Solanke, the only striker in the entire squad, for a midfielder.
I really want to hear the part after when they realise they fucked up. Did they finally figure it out themselves or did someone have to tap them on the shoulder and tell them they fucked up. Think how they reacted would be important.
Watch Man City win this game now, because Man Utd now actually have to attack rather than play on the counter and will get picked off.
Semenyo going to cause problems in the counter, and Haaland will be lethal.
Man Utd probably had more chance winning before the sending off.
And, since Samsung is Android and is Open, you can bet that any "improvements" Apple have added to user ability, someone will create a version of it on Android too, so the phones will become even more the same.
Not sure why anyone's bothering to compare the Samsung Fold8 with the iPhone Duo. It was exactly what you'd expect. Samsung's work, Samsung's tech, with iOS and tweaks added. That was ALWAYS what it was going to be. But at its base, the phones are pretty much the same.
We essentially added only 2 bodies to the squad this summer and that squad is going to be expected to handle the additional Champions League football this year.
Bright side, no one is expecting us to do ANYTHING this season so, no pressure?

So Man Utd apparently only sign 3-4 key players per summer. Next summer, Shaw, Maguire, Martinez and Mazraoui are likely all leaving and will need to be replaced, which tracks.
But rather than just buying to replace what you lose, there is nothing wrong with ADDING to the squad.
Few injuries and we're going to need to use the kids. Wonder if the plan is to blood JJ Gabriel in at LW at some stage, and use the Fletcher brothers as back up CMs.
Will probably get knocked out if the cup by Brighton so that'll at least lighten the game load a little.
Odd transfer window from Man Utd.
On paper, essentially have the same attack, improved slightly by Rashford. Same defence. And added one body in midfield (if you consider Ugarte as out). That is the extent of the squad change that also has to play Champions League this season
I get that clubs need depth, especially to compete on multiple fronts, but ยฃ120mil can't be spent on a "depth" player. Surely if you spend ยฃ100+mil on any player, that player is automatically a starter.
So, unless Havertz is leaving, I can't see how Alvarez fits.
Prob won't get him, but I can't see how Alvarez fits at Arsenal. It doesnt seem like Gyokores is leaving and he's already the back up striker. Havertz is an Arteta fave, so is going to be first choice striker.
So, is he going to rotate Havertz and Alvarez, with Gyokores as a third? If so, ยฃ120mil on a rotational player would be insane.
So, does he stick him at LW? If so, spending ยฃ120mil on a player just to not play him in his natural position would also be insane.
Not saying it'll happen, especially after 2 games, but if Tottenham were to get relegated this season and Matheus Fernandes is relegated 3 seasons in a row with 3 different teams, that's gotta be some kind of a record, right?
But, in games they just struggle to score no matter how many chances they make, like against Hull, the defence not being solid enough means, more often then not, they will lose because they can't keep clean sheets.

If Man Utd can sort out the defence so that it is rock solid and doesnt look like cracking under every attack, they will be quite a good team.
Since Carrick came in, the goal every game is basically to just outscore the opponent, which makes for entertaining matches.
#MUFC
So much focus on midfield this summer that everyone forgot that our defense is awful. Not a single one of them is good enough. At best, they're average.
Getting easily done by set pieces in this league is not good enough and will be punished.
#MUFC
Also, if we ever come up against teams in a low blocks, a midfield three of Santos, Tielemans and Bruno seems like a good prospect. All good at quick one touch passing, breaking lines etc.
Also question marks over the out of possession and defensive side of their game.

I've liked what I've seen from Andrey Santos so far. Actually see a lot of similarities with Casemiro. Slight differences, he's more mobile and better at quick line breaking passes but less powerful and, so far, less of a goal threat. But otherwise, a lot of similar traits.
Genuine question, what was Harry Maguire doing in this position when we conceded the goal?
The experienced RCB is closing someone at LB and leaving a MASSIVE gap on his side of the pitch, which of course PSG play into a score.
#MUFC
And of course he can't get back in time so is 5 yards out of position.
If he's in his actual position, you'd have to think he stops that cross and prevent the goal.
