Our pirate ship day was a brilliant success. 2CS Catkins designed and made pirate ships that included a working wheel, plank and even an anchor that can be lowered and raised.

What an amazing last day we have had in 2CW Woodies! Musical chairs, limbo , floor is lava , playing with our toys and a disco on the playground. Have an amazing summer everyone!

What an amazing 2 days we had in Burwardsley last week!

It was mixed feelings in 2CW Woodies on Monday as we said goodbye to our butterflies. We have watched them grow and change from from caterpillars to chrysalis to butterflies. We sad to see them go but happy they are now free to explore the world. #oakyscience

We have been so lucky in 2CW Woodies this week with lots of learning going on! On Monday we conducted a traffic survey of our local area and compared it to Burwardsley! #oakygeography

2S Catkins had a great time doing our traffic survey. We completed a tally chart to show the different types of vehicles we saw then created a block graph back at school. We used this information to answer questions and compare our results.

What an amazing time we had at Burwardsley! We did pond dipping, orienteering, had a campfire and talent show and that was just the first day! After an exciting night, we went to Beeston Castle and learned about its history. We got back tired but happy! More photos to follow.
