If you’re not aware, 2K has now been allowing these cheaters to roam free, ruining the playing experience for thousands of players for weeks with NO repercussions other than a maximum 2-week ban.

NONE OF THEM FULLY UPGRADE THEIR BUILDS FOR A REASON.

The dude on the right is a “Top 10” rep in the entire world, and he isn’t doing it legit in any way.

As a consistent 2K26 player, I can confidently say it’s almost impossible to play 5 games in a row in any mode (Park, Stage, Pro-Am, or Proving Grounds) without running into at least one cheater.

I don’t care if you think I’m annoying for tweeting about this every single day or every other day… It’s a serious problem, and it needs to be dealt with #NBA2K26

NOW. like as a casual previous years i really didnt run into many at all. but THIS YEAR? i mean its so common to find people zenning IN CASUAL PARK. lmao it used to be just stage and pro am, now these cheaters are everywhere. The 3 Biggest Issues I Have With 2K26 rn.

1 - fading is too easy to the point where people only want to run fade, nothing else. It ruins the rest of the game offensively. Giving up 2s to run out to the 3 to fade, or aiming to get a fade 3 off every possession shouldn’t be as popular. It’s a difficult shot, I think we make it slightly harder to time to steer people away from it being the main gameplan.

2 - some dribble moves have like 100% immunity to steals it seems like. The snatchback and especially the turbo escape crossover. You can do these moves right into a reaching defender and keep it. So guards go towards this ‘brain dead I don’t have to think when I dribble’ style of gameplay.

3 - AI defender shot defense. In rec, or any game mode for that matter, everyone knows now if there’s an AI on the court, shoot over him. Every time. Again taking people away from playing basketball and targeting an easy exploit. There has to be that middle balance between solid defense but not overkill for AI defenders. Offensively they feel solid.
