I hosted the Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, His Excellency Sering Modou Njie.

Our discussions focused on advancing our strong bilateral relations including new cooperation in education, health, defense and support for Gambia’s new foreign policy college.

Gambia is grateful to Ghana and our gallant troops for the outstanding efforts in consolidating democracy since the watershed transition from President Yahya Jammeh to President Adama Barrow.

We agreed to keep working together on the longstanding crucial matter of justice for the massacre of 50 Ghanaians, particularly following the grim findings of the Gambian Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission.
