emotional run this morning. Encountered group giving CPR to someone and person calling ambulance asking if anyone had @what3words on their phone so they could quickly locate. No one did. I made sure I downloaded it when I got home. Have you got it? Could save time and save a life
I attended a patient at the weekend who had suffered a cardiac arrest while exercising alone, and had no ID on him. Did you know iPhones have a solution for this problem without needing to unlock them?

Handover is a CRITICAL time in patient care rife with potential for sentinel events. I am thankful for those doctors and nurses who take the time to LISTEN to what I say without interruption and am always so very grateful to those who follow up with me when time allows.
We've just come across this event for TONIGHT!

As we say in Yorkshire; "it's crackin't flags!!" Be careful if you are out in the sun today and keep hydrated. Avoid the temptation to cool off in unofficial swimming areas, its not worth the risk.
Have a lovely day @YorksAmbulance
Uncertainty is a big source of frustration
It takes only a few seconds to let someone know..
..how long they might wait to be seen
..who will be seeing them next
..why there is a delay
..who can help if they have a query
..which direction the car park is from here

This defibrillator was not registered with @YorksAmbulance so would not be identified by 999 for someone to get. If you have a defibrillator that could be used by others in an emergency, register it with your ambulance service. Can anyone identify where it is?
