South Stand is always fun.
Reminder, since the playoffs where a few youngsters got carried away, the South is ALLOCATED tickets. Saw a few "I can go where I want" types last night.
You can, but etiquette demands that spot is the ticket holders. Please be respectful of that.
@NewsForTransfer This is an Indian account spewing AI crap at the wall and waiting for engagement, and it's working. Worth one pointing that out before blocking.
@BattyDaniel@YorkCityFC A fan's favourite if ever there was one. You'll always get a warm welcome when you return with whatever club that is lucky enough to have you.
Never thought I'd see the day where we needed to implement a Season Ticket waiting list. Incredible.
There's just a third of one section of the East and a handful in the West, and 24 hours to snap them up.
Just over one month since season tickets went on sale for the 2026/27 season at the LNER Community Stadium, we can provide supporters with the following update.

@NigelCllr Yeah, it is too soon, but is it still technically expandable to 12,000? If so, North Stand, fill in corners? We know the South and East can't be redone, and the West seems like a hell of a challenge. Just can't remember how the 12,000 futureproofing would be done?
Likely route (but welcoming opinions):
Uggla's buy the stadium element off the council.
Deal includes relevant permissions for North Stand expansion.
Control over use/concessions, etc.
Rental agreements with Knights, Valks, Leeds/Hull reserves.

@RhysBycfc He has said the two options are expand or move (at least twice now). But I agree, a new stadium from scratch is 10s of millions and not viable.
5,000 season tickets sold already. Very much in the realm of looking into that North Stand expansion or look at building a bigger stadium elsewhere (As Matt said). Council will need to play ball or lose their main tenant.
EXCLUSIVE: Julie-Anne Uggla says that #YCFC have been denied a trophy bus parade around the city, and reveals plans for event to celebrate.

@matt_uggla This is why the entire fanbase love you and Julie-Ann.
A football club will always benefit from financial investment, but it's the emotional investment that creates the bond. We will do everything to repay both.
@matt_uggla No one attempted to get on the pitch. The electronic scoreboard for the Knights is clearly not put together properly. This rips a bunch of atmosphere out of the South at the worst possible time. Bang on that Darlo fan's (SMC boss) door, Matt.
