Govt make rules which donât make sense, or they just donât suit you? Who do you think should make the rules? If you donât like them, stay in your country or go elsewhere. Anxiety? Take a break. Stay home. Youâre not the only blogger, weâve seen videos before.
đ·đŒ Kigali turned into a constant surveillance. After visiting Rwanda, Janis says filming in Rwanda feels âalmost illegalâ with guards ordering deletions, restricting angles, and monitoring his movement.
Denied at Every Turn: âTold to Delete My Footageâ
Janis described a pattern of tight security and overregulation that made his experience in Kigali stressful rather than inspiring.
Near a hospital, guards rushed toward him angrily, even though he was filming from a distance.
Near the Kigali Convention Center, he was told he could only film from one side of the street, not the other.
In multiple areas, he was stopped, questioned, and told to erase footage, ten times in total.
âThatâs why I donât have much footage to show you,â he explained. âEach time, I was forced to delete everything.â
You start constantly looking around,â Janis said. âNot knowing if someone will suddenly appear and demand you delete your footage. Itâs stressful.â
âIs this city really welcoming to bloggers and creators or is there something deeper going on?

The people of Goma wish you a happy New Year.
For the first time in many years, Goma marks the end of one year and the beginning of another without the sound of bullets, without killings, without corruption, without rapes, and without the chaos that once defined daily life. Prices are at historic lows, security has returned, and families are once again able to live, work, and move freely. This change has been made possible by the efforts of AFC/M23.
This moment represents the beginning of a deeper understanding of what dignity truly means for a Congolese person living in a liberated area: the right to safety, justice, and respect. It is the rediscovery of hope in everyday life.
Against all expectations, AFC/M23 continues to demonstrate that it is possible to fully secure a population, to place civilians first, and to restore justice. It has shown that an army can protect rather than prey on the people, that discipline can replace abuse, and that communities can live without fear.
In the liberated areas, all tribes live together in peace and harmony, proving that coexistence is not a dream but a reality when justice, security, and respect prevail.
This New Year begins not with fear, but with confidence in tomorrow.
~Happest New Year from Goma To you all!!!

The #UCIWorldChampionships2025 serves as a deliberate sportswashing campaign for Paul Kagameâs regime, granting international legitimacy while grave crimes remain unaddressed. When the government cannot directly reach exiled journalists and critics, it targets their families in Rwanda through sustained harassment, forcing many colleagues in Europe, the United States, and Canada into silence.
This repression together with the intimidation and assassination of critics at home and abroad, war crimes and crimes against humanity, and the crime of aggression in the Democratic Republic of Congo reflects the true record being whitewashed through such global sporting events.

Congo (Brazzaville) called it a "misunderstanding," suggesting that he meant to ban the other Congo (Kinshasa)
