@TheMissingPie_e@MyGolfSpy Agree. 300cc max head size will mean great ball strikers still will hit it well, no problem with that, and crappy swings will be exposed.
This is the way!
@SkySportsGolf sure Shinnecock is a great course prepared to Major Championship conditions but only a slope of 145 and CR of 74.7 so not as difficult as Royal Lytham. 153 and 76.5
@LouStagner That number will be wrong though, except in very specific conditions. As a ate man can you substantiate these numbers and give standard error range?
I play 2 courses in the UK and summer winter, wet dry, westerly or northerly winds are all different corrections.
@jcmmartin65 Royal Lytham, the best ams in the world shoot 9 over on average. Most pros shoot well over par at every open there. Hardest course in the UK bar none.
Thanks @peterbakergolf for a super day in Marbella at the Legends Tour pro am. A super host to me, my brother and my Dad on my birthday.
As a @fulfordgolfclub member it was great to be drawn with a former champion at Fulford.
Come and see us soon Pete and good luck tomorrow.
