If you were a student in Spring 2020 and still have projects in my classroom that you have not picked up, please email me at [email protected]. These will be donated/recycled if no message is received by 9.25. Thank you, artists!
@patrickfassnac1 Oh man. Success?! Ok ok.... Crayola crayons (new!) and oil paint. Especially walking into an oil painting studio 💜. @patrickfassnac1 ?
Students are sending in some great artwork. Assignments and non-assignments. Like this one! Look at what this student, Leah, created! She painted a deck of cards! Love seeing Quarantine Art!
A student, broke a 💜’d piece. She had learned about the Japanese Kintsugi ceramic process in last weeks’ module and mended it! In this process, broken pottery is seen as more precious and valuable. Can’t we all relate to this currently? Proud teacher moment.
So incredibly proud of our tiger artists! A student bought clay, had it shipped to his house, and is now working on a project from class. My teacher heart is full. Yorktown, you truly amaze me! Keep it up!
We had such a great time at the Champions Together assembly! So excited for what is going to happen this year and the years to come. If anyone has any questions feel free to DM us or talk to anyone in this picture. @YHSAthletics
Artists in Art History take a virtual field trip to learn about the Duomo in Florence, Italy. We get to know the city, learn about artworks, and see amazing things! Wish we could go! ✈️ #TweetThatTechYHS
