@albertapp No, you clearly would not like to help me out with this as my, now, 28 email exchange with you has amply demonstrated. The only thing you'd actually like to do is steal my money. You'll probably get it, too, but at least I can make more people aware of your grift.
Do not get trapped by @albertapp! Albert uses bots instead of customer service reps and it does not publically list a phone number so you can call when you have a problem that falls outside its narrow scripts, at which point you'll never have access to your money again.
@Dear_student I love that aspect! It sometimes makes it harder to create suspense/intrigue in lectures, though, since many students will Google the answer to whatever mystery or paradox I might present rather than sit with the unknown for a while. But even that's kind of awesome.
When laptops first started showing up in my classes, it intimidated the hell out of me. I quickly learned, though, that most students were using their devices to engage with class in ways that were unimaginable before.
And those who aren't? They're adults so what's the problem?
Commercial: Making a charcuterie board with my son is a great memory.
Mom: The hardest part is spelling โcharcuterie.โ
Me: The hardest part is butchering her son.
