@AltheFonz@B_dsrs While I agree that the Fandom and the old BatFamily comics included Barbara, I still don't believe that makes her part of Bruce's family. Bruce didn't raise Barbara. When she talks about her Dad she is referring to Jim, and she definitely doesn't have sex with Dick as her brother
@AltheFonz@B_dsrs Cass, yes, as I mentioned.
When have Barbara or Steph indicated they are part of the Wayne family? I agree when Barbara married Dick both during Crisis and Elseworld, but when in mainline continuity had she indicated she is part of Bruce's family?
What was your argument?
@byStarmont69@AltheFonz@B_dsrs Ah. So when Stephanie thinks of her father, she thinks of Bruce? When Barbara is in bed with Dick, she thinks, "brother"? When they think of the Waynes they think grandma and grandpa? When the Manor blew up, they thought, "my home was destroyed"?
@AltheFonz@B_dsrs I don't view Steph, Barbara, or any of the other "non Waynes" as the family. Allies, yes, but family, no. Even Kate is distant from the family.
@Father4Smash6@B_dsrs I get to decide what I celebrate.
I gather we interpret differently. Several runs from Morrison to current have explored the family dynamics of fathers and brothers since the 60's.
@B_dsrs I'm not interested. I'd rather have Alfred back.
I prefer the story of a family of men. Yes, Cass is part of the family, but she travels alot. I like the dynamic of older man, son and "grandsons", the blend of male generations.
@Holdingmynose1@jk_rowling I think that your dismissal of women's privacy and dignity as "petty" speaks more to the flaws in your ideology than Rowling's.
Keeping men out of women's same sex spaces would have prevented a man in a bra and towel waving his genitals in my face...because "he had rights".
@NBCNews "BREAKING: Supreme Court upholds state bans on transgender athletes in girls’ sports, delivering another major affirmation of women's rights."....fixed it.
