Picked up a great mini lesson this summer with IWP! Today we learned about froot loops in our writing, how to spot them, and how to avoid them.

Our classroom friend, Yorkie, helped us write some sensory details today. We used kernel sentences to explode the moment. He will hang out on our board and remind us to " show, don't tell". Come back for more Yorkie adventures.

Just finished the most intense and beneficial PD I've ever done. Anyone in literacy or administration would benefit 10 fold from being involved in IWP. It's right here living at BSU! Excited to implement some new methods this Fall!
