Hay algo que nunca dejará de sorprenderme: los mismos perros que muchas veces son abandonados, golpeados, encadenados o tratados como si no sintieran, hoy están arriesgando su vida para salvar la nuestra. 🐾

Mientras el terremoto en Venezuela ha dejado dolor y desesperación, estos héroes de cuatro patas no se detienen a preguntar quién los amó y quién los lastimó. Guiados por su instinto de ayudar, buscan entre los escombros a personas que aún esperan una oportunidad para vivir. Ellos nos demuestran que la lealtad, la compasión y el amor no necesitan palabras.

Ojalá algún día la humanidad aprenda de los animales. Ellos no conocen el odio, la maldad ni la crueldad con la que muchas veces son tratados. Merecen respeto, protección y una vida digna. Si un perro es capaz de salvar la vida de un desconocido, ¿cómo es posible que todavía existan personas capaces de hacerles daño? Que esta tragedia también nos deje una gran enseñanza: ningún ser vivo merece sufrir. Cuidemos a quienes, incluso con el corazón roto, nunca dejan de creer en nosotros. 🐾❤️

The mountain dogs of Ladakh are some of the gentlest and most affectionate souls you will ever meet. They silently accompany trekkers and riders, often becoming unexpected guides and loyal companions on lonely roads and rugged trails. They ask for so little just a kind word, a gentle touch, or a small meal.

Watching this sweet dog surrender completely to love, leaning in for hugs beside your amazing bike, is a touching reminder that animals don't care about who we are or what we own. They simply respond to kindness with unconditional trust and affection.

These beautiful souls survive in harsh weather and challenging conditions, yet they never stop believing in humanity. If you ever travel through the mountains, please take a moment to feed them, offer fresh water, or simply shower them with love. A small act of compassion can become the highlight of their day.

Thank you again, Nitin, for capturing and sharing such a heartwarming moment that reminds us all to be a little kinder to the voiceless beings who share this world with us.

I suspect I will never know for certain what exactly brought Lucy back home. The machinery that nearly took her from me was too opaque, and the forces that reversed its course were too tangled for any single explanation to feel complete, but I know that without your contributions, we'd have had a far lower likelihood of ever seeing her curled up in her spot on the rug again.

What ultimately moved the needle, I strongly believe, was the power of the prayers offered by millions of you, all around the world, people who have never met me or my dog but refused to stay silent.

Our veterinary team will carefully evaluate each dog before they are made available for adoption, ensuring they are ready for the next chapter of their lives. 🩺✨

🚨En Pologne, des drones repèrent des chiens attachés avant que la nuit ne les efface.

Non, il ne s’agit pas d espionnage. Il s’agit de retrouver ceux qui souffrent en silence.

Ces images ne captent pas des visages, elles cherchent de la chaleur. Les équipes de secours survolent des arrière cours, des champs isolés et des zones difficiles d accès, surtout quand les nuits deviennent glaciales. Avec une caméra thermique et des zooms de pointe, elles repèrent un signal minuscule qui, à l œil nu, peut sembler invisible.

Et c est là que tout bascule.

Un chien enchaîné ne peut pas trouver un coin à l abri. Il ne peut pas se soustraire au vent mordant. Il ne peut pas courir pour chercher une protection. Dans le froid, chaque heure compte, mais trop souvent personne ne regarde au bon endroit.

Grâce aux relevés thermiques, les drones permettent aussi de documenter les cas de maltraitance et de négligence. Puis, quand la preuve est là, il devient enfin possible d agir et de sortir les animaux des situations toxiques, avec un cadre légal.

Une idée simple, pourtant décisive : utiliser la technologie non pas pour surveiller, mais pour protéger.
