And that’s it for Brixham Pilots. The final vessels this evening were HYUNDAI GOODWILL and a very very rare visit to the pilot station for QUEEN ELIZABETH. Both photos taken from the pilot boat. Huge thanks to all at MTS for the 17 trips out over the last 3 weeks. #brixhampilots
Potentially the final vessel to pilot at Brixham in daytime with MTS was PATRIOTIC, she is currently underway from Ingleside to Wilhelmshaven and boarded a deep sea pilot off Berry Head this afternoon. Owned by Admiral Marine and Managed by Nereus Shipping S.A #brixhampilots
ONE SWAN boarding a #deepseapilot off #BerryHead on Saturday bound for Rotterdam from Colombo on the FP2. This is the first time for her at Brixham after being renamed and repainted. She will land the pilot back at Brixham in just under 3 weeks time
Face to face with this giant this afternoon. ASCONA owned by Neda Maritime Agency Co. Ltd, Greece landing a deep sea pilot at Brixham in ballast bound for US GOLA. Been busy over the last month so haven't been able to get out for much. #vlcc#nedamaritime#shipspotting#berryhead
@218goldcoast They are, some of the 143's went to heritage railways whilst others were sent to Landore I believe for scrapping. 143617 and 143618 were the final 2 in service due to problems with getting these Turbo's ready for service out Exeter TMD if I remember correctly
@ONENorthAmerica@ONE_LINE_JAPAN Panama Canal - Seen at Brixham boarding a deep sea pilot for Rotterdam on her final trip on the FE3 service before shifting to the EC2 with Wren and Apus
@218goldcoast Next time we see her she should have a new scrubber fitted - next year I think they are all due for a dry dock and will be painted magenta into ONE colours
@218goldcoast Just found out she's on charter to ONE so that would be the reason behind her coming here, if she wasn't on charter then I doubt she would've come here for a pilot
@218goldcoast Would be nice if she landed a pilot too - didn't bother as typically with any pass around this time the conditions are far from favourable
HMM HANBADA landing her deep sea pilot this afternoon at Brixham in rather grim conditions. Underway from Antwerp to Algeciras. Photos taken from Battery Gardens - was going to be worth the walk up to Berry Head. #ships#brixhampilots#hmmhanbada#hyundaimerchantmarine#brixham
