@k8ptpete Yes Nigel told us they have more powers. Very curious as their whole approach was rather amateurish. It made sense when we learned their status afterwards. We would have made more fuss knowing this.

@MU0WLV @k8ptpete Yeah we learned about that. Nothing beats good local rivalry. We actually visited GU this afternoon as Condor managed to take us there before bringing us to France ("mechanical issues" with one of their ships). We might be back. Good place for HF where you dwell.

@MU0WLV @k8ptpete Luckily we had already met up with Nigel GJ7LJJ and he could confirm there were no special anti-ham laws on GJ. That was somewhat reassuring. Local RSGB has been in contact with police and "it won't happen again". Something gained then..
