RNHS has also served residents through education programs that include financial literacy programs, home loan programs, foreclosure prevention, and affordable rental counseling.

RNHS has developed, acquired and/or rehabilitated over 400 single family homes in East Bay (with a specific focus on Richmond, El Cerrito, San Pablo and Pinole) to sell or manage as affordable homes to purchase, or rent for low-income families.

Happy Friday, everyone! In honor of Black History Month, we're sharing our favorite Black-led nonprofits and Black-owned businesses in the Bay Area. Today, we're highlighting @hazelbarsf! This is our treasurer Zeenna's favorite Black-owned restaurant in the Bay Area.

"We had a lovely time at Hazel Southern Bar & Kitchen with amazing cocktails and delicious food. YNPNsfba hosted their last in-person Happy Hour there in 2020. Currently it's closed but hopefully will open up soon. Keep supporting your beloved black-owned businesses," Zeenna says
