@MF1sles@xTechHockey Yeah he’s old but it fits in with their “building culture”. Was part of Habs rebuild so that will bring his experience and wisdom.
@Rosecco_@thefemagend@Coleidoscopes That’s like saying I can’t control my diabetes but I have a prescription for Metformin. There are so many other factors that go into having a neurological condition than just bring able to read a clock.
@Mesozoicart@Coleidoscopes I do this too. Then I press snooze. Or off. Sometimes without realizing it. I’m still late but not nearly as often. Helps that I’ve learned to build time in. No tool is fail safe. But with ADHD you quickly learn to be resourceful
@jasthemetiche@Coleidoscopes If you start getting reading 4-5 hrs ahead & you know you can’t do side quests (great self awareness btw), what do you do during that time? And those side quests, are they “I should organize my books” or tasks that need to be done? And do you schedule them for another time?
@BeeRightNow@Coleidoscopes@Lainezor You’re right I don’t. Often I think it’s 6-7 hours. My hyper focus goes into hyper drive. It’s my strength and my weakness. Luckily it happens to others too. Without it we wouldn’t have many of the things we currently have like both the device & the platform you’re reading this
@Coleidoscopes Using your logic, anyone who thinks that b/c something doesn’t affect them then it doesn’t exist, argues that other is always in wrong & making excuses for how their brain is wired are expecting you to revolve their life around their all-or-nothing mindset. This is ADHD.
@Raymond_Hatt Why would we want to hire another person to appease a couple hundred people? The fans got what they wanted - a rebuild. We have experience with RJ and Rutherford.
@MikeMartignago Canadians have always known that the US citizens paid a considerable amount to have more matches there than in Canada. But based on both $ spent and attendance per capita, both Mexico and Canada are ahead.
@Tablesalt13 So what these guys are saying is they’ve never been to a place with people before. Doesn’t matter the country, the government even the population, this happens everywhere.
@DanM1fnj@ThomasDrance Nothing wrong with drafting Reid or a D. Best thing to do is draft what’s good for the future, not a specific need today. Just because we draft someone doesn’t mean we need to keep them. Gives time to develop and trade them.
@Canuck_Faithful Yep. Montreal took 3 years, San Jose four. We’re going to be at least that long because of our starting point. Hopefully not as long as Carolina or Buffalo.
@jebo126@DillfromTO@NHLRumourReport Two players does not make an exodus. Especially when one told fans they’re in for long haul then month later telling team they would not resign but would only waive his NMC for teams that have right-wing managers &/owners.
@LalimesMartian You still have time to delete this tweet now that we know what resulted in the team’s decision to trade him. His defending his podcast, decline in his performance on the ice & how his teammates felt about his leadership. These are a “his” problem.
@by__brittany Why? Giant corporation demands more money from our public broadcaster. But instead of giving into them, CBC has decided to provide coverage about sports in Canada, Canadian athletes participating in local and international competitions. Canadian TV about Canadians for Canadians
@DanBurmawy In front of all staff, asked my son what he had heard that night. Their faces spoke volumes. In parking lot, another leader told me my son had just repeated the whole lesson verbatim. None of the 5 kids had to do them after that and the leader “resigned” at end of the semester.
@DanBurmawy My son was 9 & in weekly kids club. He loved it. Would tell me all about what he had learned. About 3 mo in, found out leader was making him do 5 pushups every time he was talking & saw he wasn’t sitting still. By now he was averaging 45. Next week stayed behind & (1/2)
