Alinea Analytics head of market analyst Rhys Elliott put the figure at over 251,000 this year, bringing lifetime sales to an estimated 10.4 million and roughly $317 million in revenue.

More than half a million people played it through PlayStation Plus in October.

The game is still a PS4 exclusive. Earlier this year Bluepoint pitched a remake, but FromSoftware turned it down.

Some Dead by Daylight players are uninstalling the game after a Behaviour Interactive employee gifted all DLC to streamer TheBurntPeanut.

During a Halloween livestream, the VTuber received every paid expansion. When he offered to return the items, the employee replied “We can take the heat! They are yours to keep.”

Fans pointed to the streamer’s controversial reputation. Many longtime creators are still waiting for Creator Program approval.

Behaviour Interactive later said the decision was made without proper approval. The studio apologized and said it would review internal processes.

A fan port of Need for Speed: Underground 2 is now running in a web browser as chaotic multiplayer free-roam.

NFSU2 Revived loads the 2004 racer with no downloads. Multiplayer is opt-in and the streets are currently packed with hundreds of player cars the
original map was never built to handle.
The creator said they made it so people could “play together again.” It was put together with AI coding help.

British self-made millionaire Mark Tilbury says buying GTA 6 saves you $5,000.

In a video, the entrepreneur priced the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. At 80 hours to finish, that works out to $1.25 an hour. Factor in side missions and map exploration and it drops to 50 cents an hour.

Play four hours a night and that’s 50 nights of entertainment. Compare it to going out and spending $100 a night, and the game saves you $5,000.

Tilbury is known for frugal living tips. The math is tongue-in-cheek.

It’s a solid excuse if your partner wants to go out.

Final Fantasy Resonance producer says Square Enix execs initially wanted a simple port of Brave Exvius.

Keisuke Nakashima pitched a full turn-based console RPG at the end of 2020, without the mobile gacha mechanics. Execs pushed back because a straight port would be cheaper and faster.

Nakashima said he “didn’t want to go down that route” and instead wanted “an original version for consoles that was a full-blown gameplay experience.”

Feedback that people skipped Brave Exvius over its gambling systems also factored into the decision.

Overwatch director says the team prioritizes skins for heroes that “support the actual bottom-line business.”

Aaron Keller said the studio wants to spread cosmetics across the roster, but still needs choices that keep the free-to-play game financially viable as it nears 55 heroes.

They release two Mythic skins per season: one for a reliable seller and one for a hero that has received less attention recently.

Keller said the team is expanding its capacity so it can do both, while still being “responsible” so support for the game can continue.

Suda51 says Travis Touchdown is definitely coming back.

Goichi Suda, Grasshopper Manufacture CEO, told Famitsu that the studio and Marvelous are planning something special for No More Heroes’ 20th anniversary next year.

Suda gave no details on whether it will be a new game, remaster, remake, or something else.

He previously called No More Heroes 3 “Travis’s last battle,” while leaving the door open if fans wanted more.

Edgerunners 2 showrunner says any possible V is left open to interpretation.

Bartosz Sztybor, the series showrunner and producer, said a face on a data archive wall that fans flagged as female V is not confirmed.

The team works with CDPR lore so the 2078 setting can fit every Cyberpunk 2077 ending. The only fixed detail is that Arasaka is weakened.

Sztybor has Season 3 ideas, but only if the story and the right people line up. He says Seasons 1 and 2 already work as a complete package.
