Legislation in Georgia, HR 345, has been assigned to the House Governmental Affairs Committee where it awaits a hearing. This bill would lower the voting and registration age to 17! Thanks to @HollyforGA111 for pushing this legislation!

It's Public Advocate election eve, and while it is an exhilarating race, turnout is going to be exceedingly low. If young New Yorkers had access to civics in school and could *vote at 17,* thousands more would be eligible to vote– which could make a difference with 17 candidates!
