On this 1st day of school, we wanted to share a thread 🧵 on Terry Fox School Runs in #yql . Terry Fox school runs during the early years were sporadic in Lethbridge. Educators found it difficult to fit in with the community run held shortly after the beginning 1/

of the school year on Terry Fox Day (2nd Sunday after Labour Day). As a result, many Lethbridge schools stopped their participation in the 1990s and early 2000s.

In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope, a new event was created by The Terry Fox 2/
